In the current paper the authors consider the Chlodowsky variant of Jakimovski-Leviatan-Durrmeyer-type operators defined as \[ L_{n}^{\ast }\left( f;x\right) =\frac{e^{\frac{-n}{b_{n}}x}}{v(1)}\underset{ k=1}{\overset{\infty }{\sum }}\frac{p_{k}\left( \frac{n}{b_{n}}x\right) }{ B\left( n+1,k\right) }\overset{\infty }{\underset{0}{\int }}\frac{ t^{k-1}f\left( b_{n}t\right) }{\left( 1+t\right) ^{n+k+1}}dt+\frac{e^{\frac{ -n}{b_{n}}x}}{v(1)}a_{0}f\left( 0\right), \] where \(v\left( z\right) ,\) \(v\left( z\right) =\underset{n=0}{\overset{\infty }{\sum }}a_{n}z^{n},\) \(v\left( 1\right) \neq 0,\) is an analytic function in the disc \(\left \vert z\right \vert >r\) with \(r>1,\) \(p_{k}\) is an Appell polynomial for each \(k,\) \(B\) is the Beta function and \(b_{n}\) is a positive sequence satisfying \(\underset{n\rightarrow \infty }{\lim } b_{n}=\infty \) and \(\underset{n\rightarrow \infty }{\lim }\frac{b_{n}}{n}=0\). First, some preliminary lemmas were recalled, such as identities for moments and central moments. Then, the authors prove some results concerning degree of convergence in terms of modulus of continuity, Voronovskaya-type asymptotic formula and weighted approximation. A modified version of the above operators were also defined in order to obtain better convergence.
