Summary: The aim of this paper is to establish \(q\)-extension of the Grüss type integral inequality related to the integrable functions whose bounds are four integrable functions, involving Riemann-Liouville fractional \(q\)-integral operators. The results given earlier by \textit{C. Zhu} et al. [J. Inequal. Appl. 2012, Paper No. 299, 15 p. (2012; Zbl 1279.26039)] and \textit{J. Tariboon} et al. [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 2014, Article ID 869434, 6 p. (2014; Zbl 1286.26020)] follow the special cases of our findings.
