For a critical pure motive \(M\) over \(Q\) with coefficients in a number field, a celebrated conjecture of Deligne relates the critical values of its \(L\)-function \(L(s, M)\) to certain periods \(c^\pm(M)\) which are defined through a comparison of the Betti and de Rham realizations of the motive. In this note, the author considers two pure motives \(M\) and \(M'\) over \(Q\), with coefficients in a number field \(E\), all of whose non zero Hodge numbers are 1, and such that \(M\otimes M'\) is critical. He gives a description of the Deligne periods \(c^\pm (M\otimes M')\) in terms of the periods \(c^\pm (M)\), \(c^\pm (M')\) and some other finer period invariants attached to \(M\) and \(M'\) by \textit{H. Yoshida} in [Am. J. Math. 123, No. 6, 1171--1197 (2001; Zbl 0998.11022)]. Actually Yoshida has shown in [loc. cit.] that the periods \(c^\pm (M\otimes M')\) can be expressed as monomials in the periods and period invariants of \(M\) and \(M'\). Here the author gives an explicit expression of these monomials according to the parities of the ranks of \(M\) and \(M'\). This allows him to recover period relations of the ratio \(c^+(M\otimes M')/c^-(M\otimes M')\) obtained previously by him and \textit{A. Raghuram} in [Math. Res. Lett. 20, No. 4, 615--628 (2013; Zbl 1287.11069)].
