In [Indiana Univ. Math. J. 24, 327--339 (1974; Zbl 0296.53039)], \textit{D. S. P. Leung} classified reflective submanifolds of Riemannian symmetric spaces. Since then many results have been published in this direction. In this paper, the authors show that reflective submanifolds in special unitary groups are convex. The results are interesting and new.
