    Let \(K\) a number field of degree \(n(K)+ 1:= [K: \mathbb{Q}]\) and discriminant \(d_K\), and let \(G(K)\) be the Galois group of the normal closure of \(K\) over \(\mathbb{Q}\). Write \(L(\rho(K), s):= \zeta_K(s)\zeta(s)^{-1}\), where \(\zeta(s)\), \(\zeta_K(s)\), and \(L(\rho(K), s)\) are the Riemann zeta-function, the Dedekind zeta-function of \(K\), and the corresponding Artin \(L\)-function, respectively. Let \(m\in \mathbb{N}\) and let \(\pi\) be a cuspidal automorphic representation of \(\text{GL}(m,\mathbb{Q})\) of conductor \(c_\pi\), satisfying the Ramanujan conjecture. Given a finite group \({\mathfrak G}\) and \(A\in\mathbb{Z}\) with \((A, c_\pi)= 1\), let \[ {\mathcal L}(\pi,{\mathfrak G},A,X):= \{K\mid G(K)={\mathfrak G},\, x<|d_K|< 2K,\, d_K= A\pmod{c_\pi}\} \] and \[ \Gamma(\pi, K):= \{\gamma\mid \gamma\in\mathbb{C},\, L(\pi\times\rho(K),\, 1/2+ i\gamma)= 0\}. \] Let \(\varphi\) be an even Schwartz class function and let \[ D(\pi, K,\varphi, X):= \sum_{\gamma\in\Gamma(\pi, K)} \varphi(\gamma m\log X). \] Assuming that the Artin \(L\)-functions \(L(\rho(K), s)\) are \(\text{GL}(n(K),\mathbb{Q})\)-automorphic in the sense of Langlands (``strong Artin conjecture'') and that certain (unproved) hypotheses in the spirit of Malle's conjecture hold true, the authors conclude that \[ |{\mathcal L}|^{-1} \sum_{K\in{\mathcal L}} D(\pi,K,\varphi,X)= \widehat\varphi(0)+ \varepsilon_\pi\varphi(0)+ O(1/m\log X), \] as soon as the Fourier transform \(\widehat\varphi\) of \(\varphi\) vanishes outside a properly chosen interval, with \(\varepsilon_\pi\in\{\pm 1/2\}\) if \(\pi\) is self-dual and \(\varepsilon_\pi=0\) if \(\pi\) is not self-dual, and obtain a few similar results.
