The authors of this paper study the generalization of the Fibonacci quaternions to Fibonacci-\(p\) quaternions. On the base are the numbers of Fibonacci \(F_n\) with the recurrence formula \(F_{n+1} = F_{n} + F_{n-1}\), \(n\geq 1\) with initial values \(F_0 =0\), \(F_1 = 1\), and the numbers of Lucas \(L_{n+1} = L_{n} +L_{n-1}\), \(n\geq 1\) with \(L_0 = 2, L_1 = 1\). Many authors introduced generalizations: Fibonacci-\(p\) numbers \(F_{p}(n)\) with \[ F_{p}(n) = F_{p}(n-1)+F_{p}(n-p-1),\;F_{p}(0) = 0,\;F_{p}(1) =F_{p}(2) = \ldots =F_{p}(p) = 1; \] Fibonacci quaternions \(F_{n}+iF_{n+1}+jF_{n+2}+kF_{n+3}\) and in many dimensions as \[ G_{h,l,m,n} = F_{h}F_{l+1}F_{m+1}F_{n+1}+i F_{h+1}F_{l}F_{m+1}F_{n+1} +j F_{h+1}F_{l+1}F_{m}F_{n+1}+k F_{h+1}F_{l+1}F_{m+1}F_{n}. \] The authors of this paper define and study the Fibonacci-\(p\) quaternions \(G_{p}(h,l,m,n)\) with following recurrence relations: \[ G_{p}(h+1,l,m,n) = G_{p}(h,l,m,n) + G_{p}(h-p,l,m,n),\quad h>p, \] \[ G_{p}(h,l+1,m,n) = G_{p}(h,l,m,n) + G_{p}(h,l-p,m,n),\quad l>p, \] \[ G_{p}(h,l,m+1,n) = G_{p}(h,l,m,n) + G_{p}(h,l,m-p,n),\quad m>p, \] \[ G_{p}(h,l,m,n+1) = G_{p}(h,l,m,n) + G_{p}(h,l,m,n-p),\quad n>p, \] with initial conditions \[ G_{p}(r,s,t,u) = F_{p,r}+iF_{p,s}+jF_{p,t}+ kF_{p,u} \] where \(r,s,t,u \in \{0,1, \ldots , p\}\) and \(F_{p,n}\) means \(n\)th Fibonacci \(p\)-number (i.e. \(F_p(n)\)). The authors prove lemmas, 2 propositions and corollaries. One of the corollaries (Corollary 2.3) is: \[ \begin{aligned} G_{p}(h,l,m,n) = &F_{p,h}F_{p,l+1}F_{p,m+1}F_{p,n+1}+i F_{p,h+1}F_{p,l}F_{p,m+1}F_{p,n+1}\\ & +j F_{p,h+1}F_{p,l+1}F_{p,m}F_{p,n+1}+ k F_{p,h+1}F_{p,l+1}F_{p,m+1}F_{p,n}.\end{aligned} \]
