The authors obtain the following factorisation theorem: On a locally compact group \(G\) a set \(\mathcal F\) of functions \(G\to\mathbb C\) is equi-left uniformly continuous iff there is an \(f\in L^1(G)\) and a bounded set \(\mathcal H\) in LUC (bounded left uniformly continuous functions) such that \(\mathcal F=f*\mathcal H\). It follows that the right multiplier topology on \(M(G)\) (Radon measures on \(G\)) is the relative topology of \(LUC(G)^*\) when endowed with the UEB-topology induced by uniform convergence on equi-LUC sets. Furthermore joint continuity of convolution of \(LUC(G)^*\times B\to LUC(G)^*\) for a bounded subset \(B\) of \(LUC(G)\) is shown for SIN groups and at points \((m,n)\) with \(m\in M(G)\).
