The authors determine the general solution of the functional equation \[ F(xy)+G((1-x)y)=H(x)+K(y) \] on intervals \([0, 1]\) and \((0, 1)\) as well as of the equation \[ F(xy)+G(x+y-xy)=H(x)+K(y) \] on the interval \([0, 1]\).
