Consider a linear multiplicity free action by a compact Lie group \(K\) on a finite dimensional hermitian vector space \(V\). Letting \(K\) act on the associated Heisenberg group \(H_{V}=V \times \mathbb{R}\) yields a Gelfand pair. An application of the orbit method produces an injective mapping \(\Psi\) of the space of bounded spherical functions for (\(K,\;H_{V}\)) to the space of \(K\)-orbits in the dual of the Lie algebra for \(H_{V}\). In Part I of the work [ibid. (4) 194, No. 2, 321--342 (2015; Zbl 1312.43007)], it was shown that every irreducible multiplicity free action is well-behaved. In this paper the authors prove that every multiplicity free action is well-behaved and so \(\Psi\) is a homeomorphism onto its image. Their proof uses case-by-case analysis of multiplicity free actions which are indecomposable but not irreducible.
