The different variants of Padé approximants are represented in barycentric form as \[ \tilde{R}_{p,q}(t)=\frac{\sum_{i=0}^p \frac{\tilde{a}_i}{\tilde{p}_i-t}} {\sum_{i=0}^q \frac{\tilde{b}_i}{\tilde{z}_i-t}} = \frac{\tilde{N}_p(t)\prod_{i=0}^q(\tilde{z}_i-t)}{\tilde{D}_q(t)\prod_{i=0}^p(\tilde{p}_i-t)}. \] Depending on the degrees \(p\) and \(q\) and on the cancellation of zeros \(\tilde{z}_i\) and poles \(\tilde{p}_i\), this will become one of the possible kinds of Padé approximants that can be considered. Expressions for computing the coefficients by matching the given series are discussed and numerical examples are given. Since this is closely related to a representation in the form of partial fractions, also this is discussed. An alternative representation, where the factors of the form \((\tilde{c}-t)\) are replaced by the factors \((1-\hat{c}t)\), requires only a slight variation in the implementation.
