Let \(\mathcal A\) be the class of all analytic functions \(f\) in the unit disk \(\mathbb D\), of the form \(f(z)=z+\sum_{n=2}^\infty a_nz^n\) and \(\mathcal S\) the class of all univalent functions in \(\mathcal A\). Let \[ \mathcal G_b:=\{f\in\mathcal A:\left| \frac{1+zf''(z)/f'(z)}{zf'(z)/f(z)}-1\right| <b\;{\text for}\;z\in\mathbb D\} \] The authors prove some theorems involving this class, such:\newline \textbf{Theorem}: If \(f\in\mathcal G_b\), then: either \[ \left| {\text arg}\left\{\frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}\right\}\right| <\frac{\delta\pi}{2}\;\;(z\in\mathbb D) \] or \(f\) is strongly starlike of order \(\delta=2/\pi\sin b\).\newline Another results of the same type are given, by considering a complex \(\alpha\) in the well-known definition of the class class of \(\alpha-convex\)-functions (or Mocanu functions).
