The article under review is a continuation of a project of the author, started in [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 365, No. 7, 3899--3922 (2013; Zbl 1275.22013)], on the study of the composition factors of the standard Whittaker \((\mathfrak{g}, K)\)-modules \(I_{\eta, \Lambda, \sigma}\). In the above mentioned paper, the author explicitly determined the structure of the composition factors of \(I_{\eta, \Lambda, \sigma}\), when the real reductive linear Lie group \(G\) is \(G=\mathrm{SU}(n,1)\) and the infinitesimal character \(\Lambda\) for \(I_{\eta, \Lambda, \sigma}\) is regular integral. In the article under review, the standard Whittaker \((\mathfrak{g}, K)\)-module \(I_{\eta, \Lambda, \sigma}\) for \(G=\mathrm{Spin}(r,1)\) with \(r \geq 3\) and \(\Lambda\) regular integral is investigated. \vskip 0.1in To determine the structure of the composition factors, the author made careful use of the Gelfand-Tsetlin basis and the parity conditions of the length \(\ell(\gamma)\) of the regular character \(\gamma\), defined by \textit{D. A. Vogan jun.} [Representations of real reductive Lie groups. Stuttgart: Birkhäuser (1981; Zbl 0469.22012)].
