The authors continue several previous papers by some of them and other collaborators in which they studied the deformation space of a discontinuous group acting on a homogeneous space \(G / H\) of a connected subgroup \(H\) of the connected and simply connected Heisenberg group \( G \equiv \mathbb{H}_ {2n+1}.\) In this new paper, the authors start from the \((2n+1)\)-dimensional reduced Heisenberg group \(\mathbb{H}_ {2n+1}\) and from an arbitrary connected Lie subgroup of this group. They show that if \(\Gamma \in G\) for \(G / H\) is any discontinuous subgroup, then the resulting deformation space \(\Im(\Gamma, G, H)\) of the natural action of \(\Gamma\) on \( G / H\) is endowed with a smooth manifold structure and is a disjoint union of open smooth manifolds. They also prove a property which is not satisfied by the setting of simply connected Heisenberg groups: the stability property holds. They also show that any discrete subgroup of \(G\) is stable and they obtain a local (and hence global) rigidity result. Indeed, they prove that the related parameter space \(\Re(\Gamma, G, H)\) admits a locally rigid deformation if and only if \(\Gamma\) is finite. Moreover, they prove that the local rigidity is indeed equivalent to rigidity.
