    Given a growth function \(\gamma:[0,+\infty)\to (0,+\infty) \), which is continuous, increasing and unbounded, and a positive measure \(\lambda\), we say that \(\lambda\) has \textit{finite \(\gamma\)-density} if, for some positive \(A\) and \(B\), the following inequality holds: \[ N(r, \lambda):=\int_{r_0}^{r}\frac{\lambda(t)}{t^3} dt\leq \frac{A}{r} \gamma(Br). \] Let a measure \(\lambda\) possess the following properties: 1) \(\lambda\) is finite on each compact set \(K\subset{\mathbb C}\); 2)~\(\lambda\) is positive outside \(\mathbb R\); 3)~\(\lambda\) is zero in the half-plane \({\mathbb C}_-=\{ z: \Im z<0\}\); 4)~\(\lambda\) is nonnegative on \(\mathbb R\). Let \(C(a,r)=\{z\in {\mathbb C}: |z-a|<r\}\). For \(k\in {\mathbb N}\) we denote \[ S_+(r; k, \lambda)=\frac{1}{\pi k} \iint\limits_{\overline{C(0,r)\setminus C(0,r_0)}\cap \{\Im z\geq 0\}} \frac{\sin k\varpi}{\tau^k \Im \zeta} d\lambda(\zeta)+ \frac{1}{\pi k r_0^{2k}} \iint\limits_{\overline{C(0,r_0)}\cap \{\Im z\geq 0\}} \frac{\sin k\varpi}{\Im \zeta} d\lambda(\zeta), \] where \(\zeta=\tau e^{i\varpi}\) and \(r_0\) is a fixed number, \(S_+(r_1, r_2; k, \lambda)=S_+(r_2; k, \lambda)- S_+(r_1; k, \lambda)\), \(r_1\leq r_2\). A measure \(\lambda\) is said to be \textit{\(\gamma\)-balanced} if there exist positive constants \(A\), \(B\) such that \[ |S_+(r_1, r_2; k, \lambda)|\leq \frac{A\gamma(Br_1)}{r_1^k}+ \frac{A\gamma(Br_2)}{r_2^k}, \] for all \(r_2>r_1>0\) and \(k=2,3, \dots\). A measure \(\lambda\) is said to be \textit{\(\gamma\)-admissible} if it is \(\gamma\)-balanced and has finite \(\gamma\)-density. For a \(\gamma\)-admissible measure \(\lambda\) satisfying conditions 1--4, the authors introduce the notion of a canonical function, generalizing the canonical Nevanlinna product for analytic functions of finite order in the half-plane. It is shown that for any growth function \(\gamma\) defined by a Boutroux proximate order, the given definition and the canonical Nevanlinna product coincide. This is a continuation of the investigation of the first author [Sb. Math. 192, No. 6, 843--861 (2001; Zbl 0996.31001); translation from Mat. Sb. 192, No. 6, 51--70 (2001)].
