      A Feynman formula is a representation of a solution of an initial (or initial-boundary) value problem for an evolution equation (or, equivalently, a representation of the semigroup resolving the problem) by a limit of \(n\)-fold iterated integrals of some elementary functions as \(n \to \infty\). A Feynman formula for a strongly continuous semigroup \((T_t)_{t \geq 0}\) on a Banach space was obtained by \textit{P. R. Chernoff} [J. Funct. Anal. 2, 238--242 (1968; Zbl 0157.21501)]. This formula looks like \(T_t=\lim\limits_{n\to\infty}\left[F\left({t\over n}\right)\right]^n\), where \(F(t)\) is an operator-valued function satisfying certain conditions. In the paper under review, using a Feynman formula, a representation is proved for the operator semigroup generated by a second-order parabolic differential equation with respect to functions defined on the Cartesian product of the line \(\mathbb R\) and a graph consisting of \(n\) rays issuing from a common vertex.
