This article discusses continua \(X\) such that their topological cone \(Cone(X)\) can be embedded into \(C(X)\), the hyperspace of subcontinua of \(X\). The classification is provided if \(X\) is a compactification of a line, a ray or a union of two rays with the remainder of an arc or a circle. The article enriches concepts from \textit{S. B. Nadler jun.} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 230, 321--345 (1977; Zbl 0356.54011)].
