Consider the Weyl pseudodifferential operator in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) \[ Pf(x)= (2\pi h)^{-n} \int e^{i(x-y)\eta/h} \sigma((x-y/2,\eta)\, f(y)\,dy\,d\eta. \] The celebrated results of Gårding, Melin and Fefferman-Phong relate the positivity of the symbol \(\sigma\) to the positivity of \(P\), modul lower-order terms. Here, the authors consider the case when \(\sigma\) is radial, i.e., \[ \sigma(x,\eta)= F(|x|^2+ |\eta|^2), \] where \(F\) is nondecreasing in \([0,+\infty)\) and smooth with bounded derivatives. Then, they prove that \[ (Pf,f)\geq h^{-1} \int^{+\infty}_0 F(t) e^{-t/h}\,dt\| f\|^2_{L^2(\mathbb{R}^n)}. \]
