The paper under review deals with the decay at infinity of solutions to homogeneous elliptic equations. Precisely, given a homogeneous polynomial of order \(m\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) \[ P(X)=\sum_{|\alpha|=m} a_\alpha X^\alpha, \] suppose it is elliptic in the classical sense that \(P(X)\neq0\) for each \(X\neq0.\) The authors prove that if \(u(X)\) is a solution of the homogeneous elliptic equation \[ P\left(\dfrac{\partial}{\partial X}\right)u=0 \] in the exterior of the ball \(|X|\leq r,\) that satisfies the estimate \[ |u(X)|\leq C_N |X|^{-N}\quad (|X|>r), \;C_N>0 \] for an arbitrary large \(N>0,\) then \(u\equiv 0.\)
