In the context of generalizing a formula due to Jerison and Lee from the case of Einstein manifolds to the case of CR geometry, namely the case of Einstein pseudo-hermitian manifolds, the main result of the paper is the following: Let \((M^{2m+1}, \tilde{\theta})\) be a closed Einstein pseudo-hermitian manifold. Suppose \( \theta = \phi \tilde {\theta}\) is another pseudo-hermitian structure with constant pseudo-hermitian scalar curvature. Then \( \theta \) is Einstein as well, and, furthermore, \( \phi \) must be constant unless \((M^{2m+1}, \tilde{\theta})\) is CR isometric to \( (\mathbb S ^{2m+1},\theta _{c})\) up to a scaling, and \( \phi \) corresponds to the following function on \( \mathbb S ^{2m+1}\): \[ \phi (z) = c \big| \cosh t + (\sinh t) z \cdot \overline {\xi}\big|^{-2} \] for some \( c> 0\), \(t \geq 0\) and \( {\xi} \in \mathbb S ^{2m+1}\). A presentation of the general framework of the problem is performed and a useful appendix contains some CR computational formulas necessary for the understanding of the proof.
