Existence of stationary Markov perfect equilibria in stochastic altruistic growth economies (Q2346402)

The authors investigate the existence of a Markov perfect equilibrium in an altruistic growth model. Some interesting results are derived. It is worth mentioning those on the derivations of the existence of equilibrium points in different theoretical scenarios. A key result is the study of the model of \textit{B. D. Bernheim} and \textit{D. Ray} [J. Econ. Theory 47, No. 1, 195--202 (1989; Zbl 0692.90030)] using different techniques and within a somewhat different framework. Results on this kind of problems are proved and a series of interesting results are provided. Two examples illustrate the asseverations.
