Some new continued fraction estimates of the Somos' quadratic recurrence constant (Q2347030)

By using continued fraction approximations for the generalized-Euler-constant function, introduced by \textit{J. Sondow} and \textit{P. Hadjicostas} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 332, No. 1, 292--314 (2007; Zbl 1113.11017)] as well as by \textit{K. Hessami Pilehrood} and \textit{T. Hessami Pilehrood} [Math. Z. 255, No. 1, 117--131 (2007; Zbl 1203.11052)], the authors deduce new approximations and inequalities for the Somos quadratic recurrence constant. Particularly, results by \textit{C. Mortici} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 402, No. 2, 405--410 (2013; Zbl 1333.40001)] are improved. In the proofs, many computer algebra computations are used, too.
