Motivated by the result of \textit{H. Hofer} et al. [Ann. Math. (2) 148, No. 1, 197--289 (1998; Zbl 0944.37031)] about the existence of a disk embedded in \(\mathbb{S}^{3}\) equipped with a dynamically convex contact form \(\lambda\) as a global surface of section \(D_{0}\) for the Reeb flow associated with \(\lambda\) and a page of an open book decomposition of \(\mathbb{S}^{3}\) adapted to \(\lambda\) such that its boundary \(\partial D_{0}\) is a closed Reeb orbit of Conley-Zehnder index three, the author shows that a periodic Reeb orbit bounds a disk-like global surface of section if and only if it is unknotted with self-linking number equal to \(-1\), and that such an orbit is the binding of an open book decomposition of \(\mathbb{S}^{3}\) adapted to \(\lambda\). Furthermore the author shows that any Reeb orbit given by a fixed point of the first-return map on \(D_{0}\backslash\partial D_{0}\) is unknotted with the self-linking number \(-1\) and hence itself bounds a disk-like global surface of section \(D_{1}\), thus providing two independent directions around \(\partial D_{0}\) and \(\partial D_{1}\) for the flow to ``twist'' along.
