The paper deals with complex Finsler metrics defined on domains \(D\subset \mathbb{C}^n\), which are of the form \[ F(z,v)=\sqrt{r\phi(t,s)}, \] where \(\phi:[0,\infty)\times[0,\infty)\longrightarrow (0,\infty):(t,s)\longmapsto \phi(t,s)\) is a smooth function and \[ r:=\| v\|^2,\quad t:=\| z\|^2, \quad s:=\frac{|\langle z,v\rangle |^2}{r} \quad \forall z\in D,\quad v\in T_zD. \] Complex Finsler metrics of this form are unitary invariant. The most important results of the paper are the following: {\parindent=0.6cm\begin{itemize}\item[(1)] \(F\) is a complex Berwald metric if and only if it comes from a Hermitian metric. \item[(2)] \(F\) is a Kähler Finsler metric if and only if it comes from a Kähler metric. \item[(3)] A necessary and sufficient condition for \(F\) to be weakly complex Berwald metric (resp. weakly Kähler Finsler metric). \item[(4)] Modulo a positive constant, a strongly convex complex Finsler metric \(F\) is locally projectively flat or dually flat if and only if \(F\) is the complex Euclidean metric. \end{itemize}}
