The authors consider the effect of random environmental perturbations on permanence and extinction of a single-species dispersal periodic system in poor patchy environments with the possibility of species loss during their dispersion among patches. In particular, they model perturbations with the help of white noise, which arises from a nearly continuous series of small or moderate perturbations, as well as with Lévy jumps. It is shown that the stochastic equation with jumps, which is associated with the model, has a unique global positive solution. Sufficient conditions which ensure stochastically ultimate boundedness and the asymptotic polynomial growth are obtained, and sufficient conditions for permanence in various senses and extinction of single-species dispersal periodic systems with jump-diffusion random environmental perturbation are established. Conditions obtained for permanence generalize the sufficient conditions established previously on the system without random environmental perturbations.
