Having already characterized the \(p\)-colorability of torus knots via methods of determinants, this paper is an extension to a specific class of twisted torus knots, \(T(m,n,r,s)\) when \(n\equiv \pm 1\pmod m\). The authors first discuss torus knots, \(T(m,n)\), where \(m,n\) are relatively prime. Twisted torus knots, \(T(m,n,r,s)\), are created using the braid presentation of \(T(m,n)\) then introducing \(s\) full twists on \(r\) parallel strands. Colorability is also reviewed. This research introduces a new method of computing determinants via Matlab. Preliminary results of these computations are presented in a table of data. Given these findings, the authors define the concepts of coloring vector and coloring matrix to calculate and prove results about determinants of \(T(m,n,r,s)\) for some particular families of the parameters and their parities. The results and the eight main theorems do not completely characterize all determinants of twisted torus knots, but they give an informed start to the research problem.
