In this paper, the following semilinear system \[ \begin{cases} -\Delta u = u^{-p} + v^{-q} & \text{in } \Omega, \\ -\Delta v = u^{-r} + v^{-s} & \text{in } \Omega, \\ u>0, \quad v>0 & \text{in } \Omega, \\ u=v=0 & \text{on } \partial\Omega \end{cases} \] is considered, where \(\Omega \subset {\mathbb R}^N\) is a smooth and bounded domain, \(N\geq 1\), \(p, q, r, s \in (0,\infty)\). The ranges of exponents \(p\), \(q\), \(r\) and \(s\) are established for existence, nonexistence and uniqueness of solutions.
