An approach to categorification of some small quantum groups (Q2350387)

In the paper under review, the authors categorified one half of the small quantum group \(sl(2)\) at a prime root of unity by using \(p\)-complexes (\(\partial^p =0\) instead of \(\partial^2=0\)). The authors enhanced the graphical calculus introduced in the discovery of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras to form this categorification. At the end of the paper, the authors propose a conjecture to categorify a positive half of the small quantum group associated with the graph \(\Gamma\) of ADE type through \(p\)-DG algebras \((R(\Gamma), \partial)\).
