Partial transformation monoids preserving a uniform partition. (Q2350954)

The paper under review studies the monoid of all partial transformations of a finite set that preserve an equivalence relation with the property that all equivalence classes have the same size. Under the assumption that there are at least two equivalence classes and each of these equivalence classes has at least two elements, the authors compute the cardinality of this monoid, show that a minimal set of generators has five elements and realize this monoid as a quotient of a wreath product of a full transformation monoid and a partial transformation monoid.
