Some remarks on the oscillator group (Q2350996)

It is well known that the oscillator Lie algebra admits an ad-invariant metric. This fact determines the equivalence between the adjoint and coadjoint representations. In the present paper, the authors do not make use of this result but they complete a study of the adjoint orbits. A full description is given so as the automorphism group of the oscillator Lie algebra. They also classify Lie subalgebras and ideals which are known as product structures (see for instance references in [\textit{A. Andrada} et al., Homology Homotopy Appl. 7, No. 1, 9--37 (2005; Zbl 1165.17303)]). Also, Lie groups with corresponding oscillator Li algebra are given, once the authors classify the normal discrete subgroups of the oscillator Lie group. In this part, some references or explanations to follow the proofs do not appear in the text.
