In this article the authors develop a method of vanishing viscosity for approximate solutions of the multidimensional compressible isentropic Euler system with spherically symmetric solutions. They establish the convergence of the approximate solution to a global finite-energy entropic solution of the system with large data. Their results show in particular that concentration at origin does not appear in the vanishing viscosity limit, even if the density blows up at finite time.
