Let \(V\) be a topological vector space over \(\mathbb{C}\) and let \(V^{*}\) be its topological dual. For a subgroup \(H\) of \(\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{R}),\) let \((V^{*})^{H}\) be the space of all \(L \in V^{*}\) such that \(L(\pi(h)(v)) = L(v)\) for all \(v \in V\) and \(h \in H\). A representation \((\pi, V)\) of \(\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{C})\) is called \(H\)-distinguished if \((V^{*})^{H} \neq \{0\}\). The main result of the paper under review is the following Theorem. Let \((\pi, V)\) be a \(\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{R})\)-distinguished, irreducible, admissible representation of \(\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{C})\). Then \((V^{*})^{P} = (V^{*})^{\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{R})}\), where \(P\) stands for the standard mirabolic subgroup of \(\mathrm{GL}_{n}(\mathbb{R})\).
