Suppose that \(f\) is analytic on and inside the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}\) and has singularities at \(z_1, z_2, \dots\) in the exterior of \(\mathbb{T}\) with \[ 1<|z_1|\leq |z_2| \leq |z_3| \leq |z_4| \leq \dots. \] The authors propose a method to improve the convergence of the power series \[ f(z)=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty} a_nz^n \] using a conformal mapping \(F\,:\;z\mapsto\zeta\) such that the singular points are moved away from the origin, and the function is expanded using a sequence \(\{p_n(\zeta)\}\) of polynomials orthogonalized on the curve \(\Gamma=F(\mathbb{T})\). As a simple but suggestive example, \(f(z)=\log(1+\beta z)\) with \(0<\beta < 1\) is adopted.
