The authors prove that for sufficiently small positive \(\epsilon\) and for sufficiently large \(\lambda\), the problem \[ -\epsilon^p \left(\Delta_p u+\Delta_p (u^2)u \right) + (\lambda A(x) +1)|u|^{p-2}u = h(u) \] has at least \(\mathrm{cat}(\Omega)\) solutions, where \(\Omega = \text{int} A^{-1}(0)\), which is assumed to be a nonempty bounded set containing \(0\in \mathbb{R}^N\).
