    The summary in the paper has the following text: ``A set of subgroups \(\mathcal F\) of a finite group \(G\) is referred to as a Fitting set if it is closed with respect to taking normal subgroups, products of normal \(\mathcal F\)-subgroups, and inner automorphisms of \(G\). A Fitting set \(\mathcal F\) of a group \(G\) is said to be \(\pi\)-saturated if \(H\in\mathcal F\) for every subgroup \(H\) in \(G\) such that \(O^{\pi'}(H)\in\mathcal F\). In the paper, it is proved that, if \(\mathcal F\) is a \(\pi\)-saturated Fitting set of a \(\pi\)-solvable group \(G\), then there are \(\mathcal F\)-injectors in \(G\) and every two of them are conjugate.'' In the paper connections to, and notions of, the following papers are treated among others and expanded: 1) \textit{L. A. Shemetkov} [Konechn. Gruppy, Trudy Gomel. Sem., 207-212 (1975; Zbl 0354.20012)]; 2) \textit{W. Anderson} [J. Algebra 36, 333-338 (1975; Zbl 0324.20018)]; 3) \textit{I. Hawthorn} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 126, No. 8, 2229-2230 (1998; Zbl 0898.20007)]; 4) \textit{Y. Liu, W. Guo} and \textit{N. T. Vorob'ev} [Math. Sci. Res. J. 12, No. 1, 17-22 (2008; Zbl 1154.20011)]. The emphasis in this paper is that ``\(\pi\)-saturated'', ``\(\pi\)-solvable'', are considered whereas in literature so far, statements and theorems are known and proved for ``saturated'' or ``solvable'' as underlying notions.
