By Smel'kin's theorem if \(S_{r,n}\) is a free solvable group of rank \(r\geq 2\) and class \(n\geq 2\), then every automorphism of \(S_{r,n}\) identical on \(S_{r,n}^{(n-1)}\) is inner induced by some element \(g\in S_{r,n}^{(n-1)}\). It is proved in the paper under review that a similar statement is true for an \(n\)-soluble (\(n\geq 2\)) product of (\(\geq 2\)) nontrivial free abelian groups. An automorphism \(\varphi\) of a group \(G\) is called \textit{normal} if it maps every normal subgroup of finite index in \(G\) onto itself. By the reviewer's result [Sib. Mat. Zh. 24, No. 4(140), 138-149 (1983; Zbl 0518.20028); translation in Sib. Math. J. 24, 604-614 (1983)] every normal automorphism of a free solvable group \(S_{r,n}\) of rank \(r\geq 2\) and class \(n\geq 2\) is inner. It is proved in the paper under review that every normal automorphism of an \(n\)-solvable (\(n\geq 2\)) product of (\(\geq 2\)) nontrivial free abelian groups is inner.
