In this article the author conjectures the existence of a Bridgeland stability condition in the Fukaya category of a Calabi-Yau manifold and proposes a program to prove this conjecture based on understanding the long-time behavior of the Lagrangian mean curvature flow for graded Lagrangians. \textit{R. P. Thomas} and \textit{S. T. Yau} [Commun. Anal. Geom. 10, No. 5, 1075--1113 (2002; Zbl 1115.53054)] proposed a notion of stability for Hamiltonian isotopy classes \([L]\) of graded Lagrangian submanifolds \(L\) in a Calabi-Yau manifold \(M\), and conjectured that \([L]\) is stable if and only if it contains a special Lagrangian \(L'\). Moreover in the stable case, they conjectured that if \(L\) satisfies an additional condition then the Lagrangian mean curvature flow starting at \(L\) exists for all time and its limit is \(L'\). The current paper updates these conjectures and tries to give a more complete picture of this area. The main conjecture in the paper states that a version of the derived Fukaya category of \(M\) admits a \textit{T. Bridgeland} stability condition [Ann. Math. (2) 166, No. 2, 317--345 (2007; Zbl 1137.18008)]. In this version of the Fukaya category, the objects are triples \((L,E,b)\), where \(L\) is a graded immersed Lagrangian (possibly singular), \(E\) is a local system on \(L\) and \(b\) is a bounding cochain, in the sense of \textit{K. Fukaya} et al. [Lagrangian intersection Floer theory. Anomaly and obstruction. I. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS); Somerville, MA: International Press (2009; Zbl 1181.53002)], on \(L\) (Lagrangians admitting a bounding cochain are called unobstructed). One should note that the construction of such a Fukaya category including singular Lagrangians is itself conjectural. It is then conjectured that each isomorphism class of semistable objects in the category contains a unique representative \((L,E,b)\), where \(L\) is a special Lagrangian. It is also argued why the inclusion of immersed and singular Lagrangians is essential for this conjecture to be (possibly) true. The author then proposes a very ambitious program to prove the conjecture using the Lagrangian mean curvature flow with surgeries. He argues that in general the Lagrangian mean curvature flow develops finite-time singularities and then states several conjectures that propose to describe the possible singularities of the flow for a graded unobstructed Lagrangian, and the surgeries that should be performed. The main theme of these conjectures (and the one of the central ideas of the whole paper) is that the existence of a bounding cochain restricts the types of singularities developed on the flow, so that the mean curvature flow for an unobstructed Lagrangian is much better behaved than the general case. In summary the conjectures presented in this article suggest the existence of a deep connection between Lagrangian Floer cohomology (and Fukaya categories) and the finite-time singularities of the Lagrangian mean curvature flow. Therefore this article should be of interest for people working on the Lagrangian mean curvature flow, special Lagrangians, and Fukaya categories, since it provides a useful guide for an exciting circle of ideas. It is also a great source of questions and open problems for anyone working in these areas.
