The Lagrange polynomial method allows to interpolate a given set of planar points. A slight variation consists on the use of trigonometric Lagrange polynomials. Thanks to this variation, the authors define an interpolating scheme able to reproduce trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, and therefore, conic sections. Properties of the interpolating scheme as affine invariance, reproduction, support and symmetry of basis limit functions are discussed.
