    The authors consider the Dirichlet problem for the vector ordinary \(p\)-Laplacian \[ (\Phi_p(x'))'= f(t,x,x'),\quad t\in [0,1],\tag{1} \] \[ x(0)= x_0,\quad x(1)= x_1,\tag{2} \] where \(f:[0,1]\times \mathbb R^n\times \mathbb R^n\to \mathbb R^n\) is continuous, \(x_0\), \(x_1\in\mathbb R^n\), \(p> 1\) and \(\Phi_p: \mathbb R^n\to\mathbb R^n\) is given by \[ \Phi_p(q)= \begin{cases} \| q\|^{p-2}\cdot q\quad &\text{for }q\neq 0,\\ 0\quad &\text{for }q= 0.\end{cases} \] It is assumed that \(f(t,x,x')\) satisfies the \(p\)-Mawhin-Uzeña-Nagumo conditions. For \(1<p<2\) and \(p>2\), the authors prove the existence of a \(p\)-admissible solution of the problem (1) and (2). Following Mawhin and Uzeña, \(x\in C^1([0,1];\mathbb R^n)\) is a \(p\)-admissible mapping if \(\Phi_p(x')\in C^1([0,1];\mathbb R^n)\). Under a solution to the problem (1) and (2) the authors mean a \(p\)-admissible mapping satisfying (1) and the boundary conditions (2).
