    The authors consider the \(q\)-fractional boundary value problem involving the \(p\)-Laplacian operator \[ \displaylines{D^{\beta}_q(\phi_p(D^{\alpha}_qx(t))) + f(t,x(t), D^{\rho}_qx(t)) \cr x(0) = D_qx(0) = D^{\alpha}_q(x(0)) = 0 \cr x(1) = \mu I_qx(\eta),\;\mu>0,} \] where \(f\in C([0,1]\times \mathbb R\times \mathbb R,\mathbb R)\), \(2<\alpha<3\), \(\beta,q,\eta,\rho\in (0,1)\); here \(D_q^{\alpha}\), \(D_q^{\beta}\), \(D_q^{\rho}\) are fractional \(q\)-derivatives of the Riemann-Liouville type; \(D_q\) and \(I_q\) are the \(q\)-derivative and \(q\)-integral, respectively, while \(\phi_p(s) = |s|^{p-2}s\), \(p>1\), is the \(p\)-Laplace operator. The paper contains some preliminaries on \(q\)-calculus, existence and uniqueness theorems, existence of positive solutions, some examples. The main tool is given by the fixed point theorems (Banach, Schauder, Krasnosel'skii).
