Inverse spectral problems and the cubic Szegö equation (Q2354243)

The authors of the article under review reveal connections of the cubic Szegő equation \[ i\partial_t u(z)={\mathbb P}_+(|u|^2u)(z),\quad z\in{\mathbb T}, \] with Hankel operators. They show how the complete integrability of the cubic Szegő equation allows one to solve the inverse spectral problem simultaneously for both Hankel operators \(\Gamma\) and \(\Gamma S\), where \(S\) is the shift operator.
