Fan realizations of type \(A\) subword complexes and multi-associahedra of rank 3 (Q2354680)

Subword complexes in finite Coxeter groups are simplicial complexes which topologically are spheres or balls [\textit{A. Knutson} and \textit{E. Miller}, Adv. Math. 184, No. 1, 161--176 (2004; Zbl 1069.20026)]. The paper describes complete simplicial fan realizations of any spherical subword complex in a Coxeter group of type \(A_n\) with \(n\leq 3\). In particular, complete fan realizations of multi-associahedra \(\Delta_{l,k}\) with \(l\leq 2k+4\) are obtained [\textit{J. Jonsson}, J. Comb. Theory, Ser. A 112, No. 1, 117--142 (2005; Zbl 1084.05017)]. Also presented are fan realizations of the multi-associahedra \(\Delta_{9,2}\) and \(\Delta_{11,3}\).
