Let \(X\) be a Banach space, \(X^*\) its dual, \(f:[a,b]\to X\). The function \(f\) is said to be Riemann-Dunford integrable (RD-integrable, scalarly integrable) if for every \(x^*\in X^*\), \(x^*f\) is Riemann integrable. If, moreover, for every subinterval \([c,d]\subset[a,b]\) there exists an \(x_{[c,d]}\in X\) such that \(x^*x_{[c,d]}=\int_c^dx^*f\) for every \(x^*\in X^*\), then \(f\) is called Riemann-Pettis integrable (RP-integrable). These two definitions are in parallel with classical definitions of Dunford and Pettis integrals. Most of the results of the paper under review concern the connection between RD- and RP-integrals. Conditions on \(X\) and \(f\) guaranteeing RP-integrability of \(f\) provided it is RD-integrable, are collected. Some results include also the connection to the Riemann integral itself or the Riemann-Gelfand integral (defined analogously as the Gelfand integral) in the case when the range of \(f\) is some dual space. Many arguments rely heavily on results to be found elsewhere. It is some drawback that a reader is usually not provided with formulations of these results, being sent to references instead.
