Quadratic cohomology (Q2356485)

In this paper, the author studies homological invariant of smooth families of real quadratic forms as a step towards a ``Lagrange multipliers rule in the large''. Precisely, he builds a cohomology theory that satisfies all the axioms in the case the space of functions is the space of quadratic forms. To compute the cohomology he defines a spectral sequence \(E^{r}\) with clear expressions of all the differentials. Moreover, based on the results of the author [Funct. Anal. Appl. 45, No. 4, 241--251 (2011); translation from Funkts. Anal. Prilozh. 45, No. 4, 1--15 (2011; Zbl 1271.46056)], the homotopy invariance is proved. This study intends to describe the topology of smooth maps in terms of scalar Lagrange functions.
