In the paper one of the classical boundary value problems for analytic functions is considered, namely the jump problem. A solvability condition for the boundary value problem on restoring a holomorphic function from a given jump on a contour with limit continuum is obtained. An example of such a contour is the graph of the function \(y=\sin\frac{\pi}{x}\), \(0<x\leq 1\), whose limit continuum is the segment \([-i,i]\) of the imaginary axis. It is shown that the assumptions of the main results allow very easy verifications.
