Let \(S\) be compact quadratic surface with strictly negative Gaussian curvature in \(\mathbb{R}^3\), endowed with a surface measure \(d\sigma\). The main result of this paper states that, for \(p>3.25\), the Fourier transform is bounded on \(L^p(S)\), namely, \[ \|\widehat{fd\sigma}\|_{L^p(S)}\leq C \|f\|_{L^p(S)}, \] where \[ \widehat{fd\sigma}(x)=\int_S e^{2\pi ix\cdot w} f(w)d\sigma(w). \] The proof of this estimate is based on L. Guth's recent argument in 2016 via using polynomial partitioning.
