Let \(X\) be a normed space. A series \(\sum_{j}x_{j}\) with \(x_{j}\in X\) is weakly unconditionally Cauchy (wuc) if \(\sum_{j=1}^{\infty }\left| x^{\prime }x_{j}\right| <\infty\) for every \(x^{\prime }\in X^{\prime }\). Let \(\{x_{j}\}\subset X\) and define \(M^{\infty }(\sum x_{j})=\{t=\{t_{j}\}\in l^{\infty }:\sum_{j=1}^{\infty }t_{j}x_{j}\text{ converges}\}\) and \(M_{w}^{\infty }(\sum x_{j})=\{t=\{t_{j}\}\in l^{\infty }:\sum_{j=1}^{\infty }t_{j}x_{j}\text{ converges weakly}\}\). Aizpuru, Pérez-Fernández and Benitez-Trujillo [\textit{A. Aizpuru} and \textit{F. J. Pérez-Fernández}, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 33, No. 9, 1317--1329 (2002; Zbl 1023.46011); \textit{F. J. Pérez-Fernández} et al., Czech. Math. J. 50, No. 4, 889--896 (2000; Zbl 1079.46505)] have used the spaces \(M^{\infty }(\sum x_{j})\) and \(M_{w}^{\infty }(\sum x_{j})\) to characterize completeness of \(X\) and the wuc property. They also used the analogous spaces with values in the dual \(X^{\prime }\) to characterize barreledness. The authors use the matrix domain of the Fibonacci matrix to define analogous spaces and then establish results like those of Aizpuru, Pérez-Fernández and Benitez-Trujillo for these spaces.
