Spreading speeds and transition fronts of lattice KPP equations in time heterogeneous media (Q2357554)

There is considered the system \[ \displaystyle{\dot{u}_i = u_{i+1} - 2u_i + u_{i-1} + u_if(t,u_i)\;,\;i\in Z} \] as discrete counterpart of the distributed continuous time models \[ \displaystyle{u_t = u_{xx} + uf(t,u)} \] and \[ \displaystyle{u_t(x,t) = \int_{-\infty}^\infty\kappa(y-x)u(y,t)dy - u(x,t) + u(x,t)f(t,u(x,t))}. \] This extended paper considers the following problems: existence, uniqueness and stability of spatially homogeneous entire positive solutions; spatial spreading speeds; traveling waves and propagation fronts, transition fronts. Mainly comparison methods are used.
