The authors propose a numerical method based on the reproducing kernel method for the following singularly perturbed turning point problems (TPPs) exhibiting twin boundary layers: \[ \begin{cases} \varepsilon\, u''(x) + a(x) u'(x) - b(x)u(x) = f(x), \quad x \in (-1,1),\\ u(-1) = u(1) = 0, \end{cases} \] where \(0 < \varepsilon \ll 1\), \(a(x),\b(x)\) and \(f(x)\) are sufficiently smooth functions satisfying certain conditions under which the above TPP admits a unique solution. By using the following transformation \[ s = h^{-1}(x) = 2\arcsin(2\,\arcsin(2\,\arcsin(x)/\pi)/\pi)/\pi \] the above TPP got transformed into the following nonperturbed boundary value problem (BVP): \[ \begin{cases} a_0(s)\, v''(s) + a_1(s) v'(s) + a_2(s)v(s) = g(s), \quad s \in (-1,1)\\ v(-1) = v(1) = 0. \end{cases} \] The transformed BVP is solved by using the reproducing kernel method. An error estimate is obtained and numerical experiments are carried out to show the efficiency of the proposed method.
