The invertibility property for a loop says that every element \(x\) has a two-sided inverse \(x^{-1}\) with \((xy)^{-1} = y^{-1} x^{-1}\). The authors prove that a uniform loop with the invertibility property admits a left-invariant pseudometric if and only if the uniformity has a left-invariant countable base.
