In [Acta Math. 147, 1--11 (1981; Zbl 0493.51016)], \textit{U. Haagerup} and \textit{H. J. Munkholm} gave the methods for the volume growth of the hyperbolic regular \(n\)-simplex. Their proof says that \[ \frac{n-2}{(n-1)^2}\leq \frac{V_n(S)}{V_{n-1}(F)}\leq \frac{1}{n-1} \] where \(V_n(S)\), \(V_{n-1}(F)\) mean the \(n\)-dimensional volume of the simplex and \((n-1)\)-dimensional volume of its facet \(F\), respectively. These bounds give a relation between the volume forms of Poincaré's half-space model and the volume form of Cayley-Klein's projective model using also Gauss' divergence formula. In this article, the author generalizes the method of U. Haagerup and M. Munkholm. Difference between the methods is that the formulas in this paper consist of a third volume form based on hyperbolic orthogonal coordinates. Also, for ideal case, the regular simplex, the authors' upper bound gives the best known upper bound proved by U. Haagerup and M. Munkholm. In addition, the general lower bound introduced in this paper generalizes the best known one for \(n=3\) in the ideal case.
